Downloading a QR code
A QR code is a small black-and-white square anyone with a modern phone camera can scan to open a web page. Forever Canadian provides a ready-made QR code that takes scanners to the main Forever Canadian site — drop it onto a poster, flyer, or social graphic.
Where to find it
Open Resources in the sidebar and click QR Codes.
What's on the page
A single QR code (pointing to the Forever Canadian site) offered in three sizes and three file formats, in English and French. There's no per-event or per-group QR option — every download links to the same site home page.
Pick a size
- Small — Digital Use (200 × 200) — social media posts, email signatures, websites.
- Medium — Print Materials (1000 × 1000) — flyers, handouts, pamphlets, regular posters.
- Large — Banners & Signs (2000 × 2000) — large-format printing, event signage, banners.
Pick a language
Each size has an English column and a Français column side by side. Pick whichever matches the audience.
Pick a format
Inside each language column you'll see three buttons:
- PNG — a flat image, the right pick for most uses.
- PDF — a print-ready document for handing to a copy shop.
- SVG — a scalable vector for designers who want to resize without quality loss.
Click the format you want and the file downloads to your device.
Sizing your printed code
QR codes scan reliably down to about an inch square (2.5 cm). Smaller than that and people's phones may struggle. Leave a little white space around the edges so the camera can find the borders.
Testing your code
Before you print 100 copies, scan the code with your own phone to make sure it opens the Forever Canadian site. Print errors are easier to fix before they're out the door.
Need a QR code for a different link?
The site's QR codes only point to the Forever Canadian site home page. For a code that links to an external page (a Google Form, a news article, your group's event listing), use any free QR-code generator online.
If anything here doesn't match what you see on the page, contact support.
