Editing a popup
Plans change. You can edit a popup any time after you create it.
Open the edit wizard
From the sidebar, open Popups, then My popups, and find the popup you want to change. There are two ways in:
- Open the popup's box and click Edit next to the date, or
- Click Manage Popup, then Edit popup on the popup's page.
Either one opens the same step-by-step edit wizard, already filled in with your popup's details: Location, then Dates, then Details, then Review.
Make your changes
- Location — change the Popup name here.
- Dates — fix an Opens or Closes time, change a Date, use Add another date for a new day, or remove a day with its remove button. (A popup always needs at least one day.)
- Details — edit the Public note supporters see, or the Volunteer-only notes only your team sees.
Use Next to move forward and Back to return — your changes are kept as you move between steps. On the Review step, click Save changes. The popup re-publishes to Forever Canadian on its own.
Changing the signs available
The number of signs is not changed in the edit wizard. To change it, go to the popup's page and use the separate Adjust signs available section: type a number in Set signs available to and click Update. Keeping it separate means an ordinary edit never resets the count by accident, so reservations stay safe.
Links keep working
Editing never breaks a link a supporter already has. The public page and the printed poster keep working with the same address — supporters who saved the link or printed the poster don't have to do anything.
Removing a day
To drop one day from a popup, open the edit wizard, remove that date on the Dates step, and click Save changes on the Review step. The day comes off your popup right away. (To take the whole popup down, use Cancel popup on the popup's page instead.)
