Commenting on a post

Last reviewed 2026-05-15 · About a 2 minute read

Comments are how the feed turns into a conversation. Here's how to join in.

How to comment

Each post has a small speech-bubble icon at the bottom — that's the comment button. Click it to open the comments area. Type your comment in the box, then click the small send icon to the right of the box.

Comments appear in the order people wrote them, oldest first. There's no nesting — every comment hangs directly off the post, not under another comment.

Liking a comment

You can like a comment with the small heart icon under it — same as liking a post.

Tagging in a comment

Type @ and someone's name to tag them in your comment. They get a notification just like a tag in a post.

Deleting your comment

Look for the small trash icon next to your own comment and click it. You'll get a quick "Delete comment?" prompt — click Delete to confirm. Once it's gone, it's gone.

You can only delete comments you wrote. There's no edit option for your own comments, so re-read before you click send.

When an admin edits a comment

If a platform admin needs to edit a comment for safety or clarity, a small "edited by a platform moderator" badge appears next to it so everyone knows it was changed.

Reporting a comment

There's no per-comment report button. If a comment is harmful or breaks our rules, use the three-dot menu on the parent post and pick Report post — the admin team will see the comments when they review the post.
