Posting to the feed
Posting to the feed shares what you're up to with every signed-in volunteer across the province. It's a great way to celebrate a small win, ask a question, or share something inspiring.
Step 1 — Open the feed
Click Feed in the sidebar. The feed is the default home page when you're signed in.
Step 2 — Find the composer
At the very top of the feed is the post composer — it's always open, no clicking needed. The placeholder reads Share something with your network….
Step 3 — Write your post
Type what you'd like to say. You can paste a link, attach a photo or file with the paperclip icon, or use the toolbar below the writing area to make text bold, italic, or to add a list. Posts can also include link previews, YouTube embeds, mission notes, and event share cards. The body has a 5,000-character ceiling.
Step 4 — Send it
When you're happy with what you've written, click the round send button on the right (it's an arrow icon — there's no button labeled "Post"). Your post appears at the top of the feed within a few seconds.
Editing or deleting
Open your own post and click the three-dot menu at its top-right. You'll see Edit post to change the words or Delete post to remove it. Three-dot menus on someone else's post show Report post instead.
When in doubt — keep it short
Short posts get more replies. A photo and one or two sentences is usually plenty.
