Leading a center

Center leads help review Paint The Province sign requests and publish pickup windows for their center. They can also review new volunteer requests from people who want to help at the same location.

Reviewing volunteer requests

Open your center page and find Volunteer requests. Pending rows have a Review request button. The review page shows the applicant's name, the original availability text, and the confirmed availability windows.

Eligible reviewers see Approve and Reject while the application is pending. The applicant sees Awaiting decision instead. If you reject an application, the dialog includes an optional Reason field.

Approval adds the applicant as a center lead and enables their distribution-agent access when needed. Rejection leaves center access unchanged and records the optional reason on the application.

Email buttons

Volunteer request emails open a secure review link. If you are not signed in, the link takes you through the sign-in page first and then returns you to the request review page. The final decision is still checked against your signed-in account, so forwarded emails do not grant approval access.

Lead availability and pickup windows

Lead availability is a schedule note for the team. It does not create pickup windows for volunteers. Use the center's Hours tab to publish pickup windows, and use Scheduled pickups to see approved requests that still need to be picked up.

Contacting other leads

The center page lists leads by name and avatar only. It never shows a peer email address. Use Message lead to open the inbox compose view when you need to coordinate.
