Reporting a feed post

Last reviewed 2026-05-15 · About a 2 minute read

If you see a post on the feed that breaks our rules — harassment, spam, hate speech, or anything that feels off — you can report it. Reports are emailed to the admin team, not to the post's author.

How to report

Click the three-dot menu at the top-right of the post. Pick Report post. A short box opens.

You can't report your own post — if you regret one, delete it instead.

What to write

Pick the closest reason from the list and add a sentence or two if you'd like to give extra context. You don't need to write much — the admin reading it will look at the post itself.

What we do with it

An admin reads every report — we aim for a business day or two. We may remove the post, add an "edited by a platform moderator" mark to part of it, talk to the author, or close the report if the post doesn't break our rules.

Will the author know I reported them?

No. Reports are sent only to the admin team — the post's author never sees who reported it. If we do edit or remove the post, the moderator badge that appears doesn't name you.

What if I'm wrong?

Don't worry. Reporting a post that turns out to be fine doesn't get you in trouble. We'd rather have one report too many than one too few. (To keep things fair, we do limit how many reports a single device can file in a short window — if you hit it, take a breath and try again later.)

In an emergency

This site is not the place for an urgent safety concern. If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number first.
