Updating your profile

Your profile is what other volunteers see when they look you up. Keeping it current helps neighbours and group leaders know who they're talking to.

Step 1 — Open your profile

Click your name or photo at the bottom of the sidebar to open your profile page.

Step 2 — Open the Personal Information card

Find the Personal Information card and click the small pencil icon in the top-right corner. The card switches to edit mode.

Step 3 — Update what you need

You can change your first name, middle name, and last name. You can also update your mobile number, tick I don't have a mobile number, or use Add Phone Number to list extra phone numbers people can reach you at.

Your email shows here too, but it can't be changed — it's the address you use to sign in. Your address lives in a separate Address card lower down the page (see "Your address" for details).

Step 4 — Save your changes

Press Save Changes when you're done. The new details show up right away.

What's visible to others

Your name shows on every post, comment, and member list. Your phone numbers are visible on your public profile page so group leaders and connections can reach you. Your email is private — only you and our admin team can see it.

If a field won't save, press No, this didn't help below to send us a message and tell us which field you were trying to change.
