What is Forever Canadian?
Forever Canadian is a volunteer-led campaign across Alberta. We bring neighbours together to talk about the country we share and the future we want for it. This site is the place where the work happens between events.
What volunteers do
Most of the work is small and local. People host coffee chats, hand out flyers in their neighbourhood, knock on doors, set up a table at a community fair, or organize a friendly get-together. The site makes it easy to find others doing the same thing in your city, and to plan your first event together.
What this site does
This site keeps everything in one place — the people, the events, the resources you can hand out, and the messages you send each other. You don't need to remember a dozen different links or apps.
You set the pace
Some volunteers come every week. Others drop in once a month. Both are valuable. There is no quota and no obligation — you do as much as fits your life.
Where to start
When you first sign in, the site walks you through a short onboarding stepper — your name, your address, and our terms. Once that's done, you land on your main feed and the rest of the site opens up. From there, the most common next step is to find and join your city's group. See the training-and-onboarding and your-first-week articles for what to expect.
